Structural Engineering

Our structural engineering services include consultation with architects, damage assessments for the insurance industry, condition inspections, foundation and building design. We have performed condition and damage inspections nationwide.

Civil Engineering

Our civil engineering services include site planning, road design, erosion and sedimentation control design, drainage analysis and design along with other services for the construction contractor.  We can provide civil engineering services to a broad range of clients from the developer to the individual property owner, from the architect to the construction contractor.  We can provide assistance in securing the permits needed to construct a land development project and in designing the various components needed to secure project approval, including:

• Road Design
• Drainage analysis and Design
• Erosion and Sedimentation Plans
• Parking and Grading Plans

In addition, we can provide crane inspections and engineered lift support to the construction contractor.  We can develop a spill prevention control and countermeasure Plan (SPCC) for your above ground oil storage facility.

Loss Investigations

Our engineers are experienced in inspecting and analyzing building defects and losses caused by construction defects, storm damage and other losses for attorneys and adjusters.

Environmental Engineering

The specific environmental services provided by Roaring Brook Consultants include emergency response, remediation design and contractor oversight during remediation, third party plan review, claims review, property condition inspections, damage assessments, litigation support, assistance with negotiations, and preparation of independent cost estimates and budgets. In addition, our other environmental services include environmental site assessments ranging from Preliminary/Phase I Site Assessments to Comprehensive Site Investigations and Risk Assessments, hydrogeologic investigations and groundwater modeling, underground storage tank management and design, and remedial action plans and site management for sites determined to contain contamination.

Geotechnical Engineering

Our geotechnical engineering services include the determination of geotechnical design criteria for shallow foundations, investigations for underground structures, investigations of settlement and subsidence, engineering geology and geologic mapping, slope and soil stability analysis, foundation installation inspections, and pre-blast and pre-construction surveys.
