Since 1977...

Roaring Brook Consultants began serving clients in 1977. Our earliest clients were in the construction and insurance industries, with projects that involved construction management, evaluation of construction field problems, and evaluation of distressed jobs. Because of our familiarity with construction methods and practices, our clients soon included contractors, attorneys, other design professionals and property owners who needed timely, solid advice regarding construction, development and repairs of real property.

Over the years we have built strong relationships with our clients based on unique solutions to unique problems. We love a challenge and we love to be creative in our approach. We try to approach each project as an opportunity to use the creative tools at our disposal. Many of our clients have worked with us over long periods of time, on multiple jobs. Some of our clients have been worked with us since our founding. All of our clients bring us projects that are unique and specific in their requirements. For some of our clients, this means that we have performed individual jobs numbering in the hundreds, under a variety of site, time and budget constraints.

Our clients represent a wide range of industries as well as individual owners. They include insurance companies and adjusters, contractors, developers, homeowners, attorneys, real estate professionals, architects, industrial concerns, municipalities, engineers and environmental professionals.

Using a variety of services...

Our clients have a variety of engineering and surveying needs. To meet these needs, our services include failure investigations and causation analysis, civil and site design, surveying, structural design and analysis, environmental characterizations and remedial design, geotechnical design and analysis, repair designs and cost analysis, and crane inspections.

In a variety of locations...

One of our strengths is that we can meet customer needs in a variety of locations. With the advent of electronic document transmission and the honing of our specialized skills, it is often cost effective for our clients to have us perform services on remote projects. Although our primary service area is New England, we assist clients throughout the United States and overseas. We have been involved with evaluation of hurricane damage in the South, earthquake damage in the Territory of Guam, and snow, tornado, explosion and collapse damage to properties in western, central, southern and eastern United States.
